hi all
i just moved home and its that time of year again ,and want start planting front garden as there nothing there apart from grass
i already plans to put large conufer around fence area to double as hedging so that sorted
but wot i need help with is chooseing plants for borders ,i like evergreen plants which still look great in winter months but flower during summer months to look pretty ,any ideas wot kind i can use pls?

hi...am also a fist time gardener and i don't know on how to start gardening...
would i hire someone to garden design my garden? or should i be the one to start it.
